December has been another hot, dry month & we are still waiting for the Summer rain to come. It was wonderful to meet so many new visitors to our Art & Craft Gallery that were looking to buy locally made gifts for their family & friends this Christmas. We have made & sold 100% locally made arts & crafts since opening here at Takura, Hervey Bay in 1991. 22 years ago there were a lot of places that sold locally made & Australian made items. Unfortunately now, they are harder to find. We are proud to showcase what the Fraser Coast regions most talented Artists & Crafts people make. |  We have some gorgeous new Indian Runner Ducklings. We hatched them here ourselves in the incubator. In a few months time they will be ready to roam freely during the day with our other ducks. |
